Sankranthi is a pongal of harvesting season. It is a harvest festival celebrated to thank the Sun, mother nature and various farm animals that help to contribute to a bountiful harvest. It also signifies the end of winter.

Principal speech : The Principal Dr Aravind Kumar greeted all the students and said that…festivals are celebrated to know the culture and traditions of the present generation because in this speedy and mechanical world, people are forgetting about the traditions and values. This type of celebrations will inculcate the traditional values among students.
